odd markings on my older bench made.marked Bali song on the handles and the ATS 34 blade.

Let me guess, it says Bali-Song in the butterfly logo in a medallion near the butt of the handle?

Benchmade used to be called Bali-song, and they marked it on their knives for a while after they changed their name to Benchmade.
