Whoa! And EDC AKB? Sooo...beautiful! I hope to see more of these turn up. Perfect!

Those are really cool! The wood is quite lovely also.

EDC AKB? Sooo...beautiful!..... Perfect!

An EDC version is just what I had in mind when I asked Yangdu about the idea. I requested a 12" and she went one better and got that plus a 10" too. What a beautiful pair. Looks to be about 6.7" and 5" blades respectively. Nice to able to carry it on the belt without it pulling your pants down!

In hindsight, I should have probably asked for a villager finish too. It will be a shame to take that beautiful polish off with usage but usage they will get!

(My pair is separately ordered from this thread so grab these while you can)

Man, how are these beautiful beasts still here? These are you bombproof mountain man knives. I hope they catch on, because I can tell you that from my experience with the AK bowie and HI's belt/hiking knives, these are the cat's pajamas.

The 12" version "looks" better to me, but man, a 10" AKB would be a joy to carry on my belt during a day of hiking. Love, love, love the wood on these. I've gotta be careful. I'm getting the mental image of one of these hanging out in a custom ugly sheath I make for it to keep my revolver company when we go hiking around my Uncle's property in the wilds of Kentucky. The gorgeous western shape of the blade, the "old-timey" wood grips, and the no nonsense big enough/not too big blade would pair well with my short barrel cap and ball six gun.

What a cool knife. Anyone on the fence really should jump on these. The AK bowie is a great design that would benefit from a shrunken down version. It seems to be a totally different animal.

+1 on everything Jake said.

Glad to see that somebody finally snapped these up today!
