Mini alpha hunter CPM 154?

I searched and couldn't find any info on this. I ordered a mini alpha hunter from Buck. The specs on the site say the steel is CPM 154, as does the blade. I thought these were in 154cm, not CPM 154. It's item # 0196RWSBP4-B. Is it actually CPM 154?

I think they were a build out of sorts on the web specials page last year. At least the folder version Alpha Dorado was.

That's good to know. I just got it today and it's a really nice looking knife. The handle scales are a little blocky but it's light and feels good in the hand.

Those would be a nice knife to start a collection of. A display of all the variations and steel types would be cool. I know of five different steels used in that particular model!

I believe you're right jb, look at the model number (0196RWSBP4-B). I don't believe they are a build out, no BO in the number, but I do believe that the BP means Bass Pro.
