Mini Autoclip or Outdoor Mini Autoclip?

I need to get a new folder with a blade limit of 3" do to regulations at my new job. Now, I have the option of not carrying a knife at work, but I've been carrying for so long I feel almost naked with out one so I need to get a new one.

I have narrowed it down to the Mini Autoclip or the Outdoor Mini Autoclip and would like your guy's help desiding which to get.

Hey Wildmanh, I've posted it elsewhere that I've finally settled with an x-42 mini autoclip. Think u are familiar with the Autoclip family too so in my opinion I think it's only a perference on which shape of the blade u like it better, between the mini/the outdoor mini, given that they are made of the same kind of steel and having the same length. If it's not that u already have an x-42 autoclip and if u don't think that it's kind of redundant to have a smaller version of the same stlye of blade, then I would strongly recommend the u know what. Just love that plain edge tanto blade on my mini x-42, though it's a small blade but boy when it opens, it has "all business" written all over it.

Thanks for the advice Tok. I need to find something sort of friendly looking. Plus, when not at work (reason for smaller knife) I might end up wearing both knives and having 2 of the same thing but different sized, seems a little redundant.lol Maybe I'll just call SOG and have them pick one out for me.he hehe

Hey wildmanh, make up your mind yet? I think that the outdoor mini looks more friendly than the regular mini.. and yet, to me its blade shape looks less boring than the regular mini autoclip too. But then again, I guess even though u said u want something friendly looking, u just don't want something "too" friendly looking, right? Hehe I can understand that. In other words, I guess you won't really like something, let's say a Sculptura, will ya? So IMHO, I'd get the mini outdoor.

Tok, I still have not made up my mind yet.:footinmou The Sculptula is a cool little knife. I've heared that they are poplulare with girls so I might have to look into one. Might make them like me more if I had one. There is also the new Twitch that is coming out. I like the Bigger one the best. If it was out now, I'd probablty have ordered it this week.

Right now I can handle not wearing a pocket knife all day. But it's getting harder.
