Mini buck?

I EDC the Buck 425 with stainless steel handle and love it. Never know it is in my pocket. I have Pried, scraped, and abused it and the blade is still tight. I have carried it for around 4 years and have only sharpened it a few times and if I loose it or ruin it I am not out a bunch of money. Paid $17 for it. I am not sure if the plastic handle version would hold up as well for what I have put mine through.

Yes!!
I bought one when they first came out and had it on my keys for 10 years until it was lost at some point.

I currently have another one on my keys now :)
It is carried everyday, and used frequently :)

I have carried a black plastic 425 for over a year and wouldn't leave home without it. I bought it used with some blade play, but a few taps with a pin punch on the pivot pin tightened it up and it's stayed solid ever since. The plastic is quite rigid (unlike the Batam Series) and not showing any signs of wearing, although I've seen some that are worn smooth from riding with coins and keys. I abuse the edge pretty often, but a few strokes on a DMT diafold brings back a good working edge, or sometimes a light stropping is all it needs. I agree with gedlicks, it's so light you'll hardly know it's in your pocket.

Carried one on my key ring for years. Gave it to my buddies 7 year old son who is developing knife interest and only had a couple little china pieces of crap gumball machine knives. Gettin around to replacing it. I miss it.

I use one now and than... Good little knife for the money... ITE ...:thumbup::thumbup:
