I just saw some pics of the mini-campanion and love the look of it. I know it won't come out until next year, but does anybody know the proposed specs?

4.5" blade
.165" thick
OAL 9" approximate.
The actual specs won't be listed until the production run is complete, though, but this should give you an idea.

The word "perfect" comes to mind. Uncle E said "People keep asking for how big it is. It is as big as it should be."

I think that's the best way to describe it, or so it seems so far. Idk, I'll let you know when I get mine

so I should wait and not pull the trigger on an ESEE 4?

If you want one by all means get it. They are good knives. But a Becker is just as tough and will perform the same tasks at a significantly lower cost to you. Beside performance, Beckers also look\feel good in the hand.

Dude this knife is a long way off. 2012 fer chrissakes! The only reason for anyone to wait on this faroff new batch of knives is if there's absolutely nothing you will need to cut for the next 8+ months.

Will it be made in the USA? Or is it one of the over seas models?

I know right....I will prolly just end up buying them both!!!!!!!

After using it at the gathering, I'll have to say the ergonomics, weight, balance and overall feel of this knife is amazing. A hell of a lot of thought went into this design and you can tell. It truly is a special blade. I'd get the ESEE now and use and abuse it til the Mini comes out.

Agreed. The dimensions are Sweetness x Perfection.
