"Mini" Civilian.

Hi y'all,

I'm new to this forum, but I was wondering if Spyderco ever considered making a limited edition "Mini" Civilian. I am thinking of a knife half the Civilians size with a damascus blade and a nice wood box. (Like the Mini Halo 2)

That would be a nice looking knife. Any Civilian with a Damascus blade.

It is doubtful you will see a mini Civilian. The closest you will probably get to a smaller civilian would be the Matriarch. If the having the exact blade shape is not important, then the Harpy would get the call. Then you always have the serrated Cricket. While it doesn't have that long penetrating tip like the Civilian, it does have a similar "s" shape to the blade.

Keeping telling Sal what you want and you never know, you might get your wish. He does try hard to make his customers wishes come true.

Hey, now...That IS an idea. A damascus bladed version of either the Civilian or Matriarch. Maybe some special scale material to depart from the utility role to a dressed-up tool! Definitely on the wish list, but I would hate to worry about the practicality of producing one.
