The wife asked what I wanted for father's day. Noticed that New Graham had a shipment of Emerson's so I pulled the trigger on a Mini Commander. My CQC 8 is a little too big sometimes so I figured the Mini would be a good choice.

You love that mini comm! I have 2 and planed to sell one but when I pulled it out the other day to take pics, it convinced me to keep it!

I'm sure you'll like it a lot! I bought a mini commander SF for my dad since I have a couple of Emersons myself, a mini 15 and a cqc 7V, and thought I could spread some Emerson goodness. The problem I had when I received it from New Graham though, is that it was such a great knife, I had a hard time parting with it. That's the tough thing with Emersons, once you get your hands on one, its really tough to let go. I hope my Dad likes his fathers day gift!

First time I've ordered from New Graham. Ordered it on the 6th and got it today on the 8th by Priority Mail. Now THAT'S fast! Wife won't let me open it for 11 more days. People are going to be asking me about the stupid smile on my face until then, maybe for a few days after.

dman62; congrats on your new knife. If you wouldn't mind would you be willing to post some pictures of it? Still trying to get more and more proof that I like and need an Emerson.

Once again, good pick up.

It's smarter to open it right away. If something is wrong with it you want to return it to the dealer for a replacement, 11 more days might be past the return date.

You guy's are right. I do love it! Very solid and packable. Was a little worried about sharpening the recurved edge but it's not going to be a problem. Nice balance of portability and packability.
