Mini Commander or Mini CQC-15?

Cant go wrong with either but im a big 15 guy. I thing the look of both is awesome and rare. I guess im not much help here.

Does anyone who has owned or handled both think that one has a significant advantage over the other in terms of ergos for someone who has small/medium size hands?

Well iv handled both at the same time and they both feel great in the hand. To me the 15 has a more secure grip because there is a "guard" I guess you could call it, at the front and rear of the hand preventing it from slipping out of your hand either way. I have medium sized hands and wear a medium glove. Heres the regular 15 in my hand for reference, the mini might be a bit smaller. Its actually pretty amaxing how perfect this knife feels in my hand.

I now have both mini 15, mini commander.

To me, I much prefer the mini-15.

Both in handle and blade shape.

I prefer the commander as the blade is easier to sharpen and I like the handle better . But that is just a personal preference. I would use and trust both knives!

I am leaning towards the mini commander because I have always wanted one, but can't seem to pull the trigger. The horseman never really appealed to me in the past (because I thought the blade shape looked odd) but is now starting to grow on me. So I guess the question is now, between the mini comm and horseman what do you guys think would be a better all-around edc option?

I think that the blade shape on the Horseman, lends itself better for more practical EDC applications.

^I was thinking the same thing :) And from looking at pictures of the two (unfortunately I won't be able to get my hands on either til I actually purchase one) it looks like it might carry a little better too due to the thinner profile. Any advantages in ergos?

Not that I have found, BC, the ergos on both are wonderful.

AFAIC, the best EDC model of Emerson is the Journeyman. That said, I doubt any knife will ever kick my Starbenza outta' my rfp.
