Mini-Compasses in Handles

Hey all, how well do the mini-compasses hold up when stored in the hollow handled knives? I am sure that even when securely fastened, (glued or tight-fitted), the pointers get knocked and bounced around quite a bit. Which ones seem to be more durable, (liquid or dry)? Thanks.

I have an Aviator with a mini compass fixed to the inside of the cap that works fine. I believe it's dry.
 
Hi there...I'm new to the CRK forum but liquid filled compasses act as a buffer for the points. Cheers Art

Which compass do you have in your handle? I'm thinking about getting an aviator.
