Mini-Copperlock Question

Yes, Pat, they did. I have one in yellow.

I think some folks have 'em in bone as well but I can't swear to that.

I don't know how many different handle options they had...but I know the mini-copperlock was available with yellow synthetic handles.

EDIT: bah...you have to be quick around here.....Blues beat me to it. :)

They, and the large were only offered in the yellow. I found one of each, but it took a while to find them at a good price. Think the year was 1998, or near that.

At least I've never heard, or seen of one in anything but the yellow.

edit...Pat, I see your over in Calhoun. If you go to the NKCA show in Dalton next spring you should find one there at a good price. I saw a few this year, and bought a large.
I got my small one over at Collinsville at a good price.

Thanks for the info on the NKCA show, I'll have to check it out. Plan on going to the Eastman Gun Show in Marietta this weekend & see what I can find.

Thought I remembered the Mini-Copperlock in CV and yellow scales, did not know about the large version though. I've got a large Copperlock with the ugliest stag scales somewhere around here. It was a gift back in 1999 & has a funny story associated with it so I'll not get rid of it. Considered getting it re-handled though.

Pat.

Your welcome. Its in the North GA Trade center, same place as the Eastman Gun shows in Dalton. Its a really good show, with some good finds:thumbup:

I don't think you'll see one at the Cobb Co Eastman show, or many other traditional knives for that matter. They'll be some, but not near as many knife dealers as there once was at his shows. Scott will have alot of knives of course, but he don't mess with traditional stuff much. I may go. Have a great time!

BTW- If you ever go to the big Flea market in Collinsville AL, check out the dealers there. Many have some older stuff, and at a fair price. Thats were I found my small CV copperlock for $30.
