After a long wait, my favorite online knife vendor got stonewashed plain edge mini cqc-15's in stock today. I just placed my order and am very happy to finally have one on the way after waiting patiently. I bought a journeyman last fall and was very impressed with the knife. After a visit to a local gun shop and seeing the mini cqc-15 in person, I knew it was my next Emerson. Very happy with the fit and finish of my journeyman as well as the ruggedness and toughness of the knife. I know I won't be let down by the mini cqc-15. :) Feel free to comment on your experience with the mini cqc-15. Thanks!

I have the regular and I love it. I need a stonewashed one though. Make sure to post pics when you get it!

Im actually ok with this blade being black. Its my first coated blade and I think ill enjoy watching it wear away. Then stonewash it and pimp the whole knife out. I still want a stonewashed one though lol.

I've had several Emersons, but the mini-15 is the only one I've kept. It gets regular carry and performs flawlessly. It's very easy to pocket and use and I've found that Emerson's V-grind is easy to maintain with a Sharpmaker or a small Doublestuff stone. Mine is black/black and I've had no problems with the coating so far. F&F is excellent, blade is centered, and the lockup is early and solid. Perfect example of a well made liner lock.
