I am seriously looking at buying one of these knives.

As I live in a country without one decent knife dealer, I have to rely on the Internet for information.

To you my questions may seem a bit silly, but it is difficult, if you cannot actually inspect a knife before buying.

Could you please clarify the following?

· Is the opening stud wheel fixed directly to the blade and can it rotate?
· Does it take a lot of forward pressure to open the blade?
· Do you guarantee your product against defaults/ shoddy workmanship – even here in Australia, although there are no local dealers?

The opening stud does, indeed, rotate. I believe it is attached directly to the blade.
To open the mini cuda, the force needed is extremely minimal.
Camillus has a limited lifetime warranty against workmanship. It does not matter where the knife ends up, it is under warranty. Their customer service is second to none.:)

After carrying one for about a year now, Ill put my two cents in. I got the left handed model for just that, it's a true lefty. After using it for awhile I forgot about it. What I mean is that it sat clipped to my pocket every day. When ever I needed a knife it was there and did everything I wanted. It is so handy that I forgot what it used to be like to fumble with another knife. The blade is perfect for most chores and it has held up to my use without a hitch.
GET ONE!
