went to use my new today zdp mini cyclone and the suckers lock bar closed all the way and pinched my finger good, and it hurts dang it-

just a slight pressure when gripped causes it to go all the way-now i have to send it back-bummer because i was going to try it as my work edc-

wish i had a camera to show some pics-either they took to much meat off the ti lock bar or didnt leave enough beveled surface on the back of the blade-
the jyd i received this week has a perfect lock up-

its a bummer -but hey thats life-

Too bad. Hope you heal well. ;) :D

Mine's pretty much perfect. The more I look at and handle this knife, the more impressed I am. Great design and flawless (at least mine) construction. I'd compare it to any other makers knife.

I picked up a Mini Cyclone this week and mine is great. I'll probably let it go simply because I've come to like zytel handle that show wear so much. That said, the Cyclone looks so good, I may well change my mind.:D

My ZDP mini cyclone is in perfect condition. I had to loosen it when it arrived but it is an excellent knife with perfect grinds, and excellent materials. To me, it's worth the money. I expect I'll keep it for a long time. It won't be a safe queen either. Good job Kershaw. Joe

It happens, I had 2 different ZT0301's, and they locked up perfect, but I had a ZT0300USN, and it moved all the way to the opposite liner right away. But, Kershaw will just send a new one, they're customer service ROCKS!
