Was thinking of customizing my Cyclone, but i am a little leary of taking it apart.Does anybody have pics of it disasembled it would be a big help. Thank you very much.

Just make sure the blade is open before you go taking it apart...don't ask me how I know this!

Ah, come on DV, everyone should earn their stripes by having to fish a torsion bar from behind the couch at least once right?

Behind the couch? That would be an easy one! Try having pieces/parts flying all over the kitchen with two labs standing around watching. Hey! If it falls off the table and hits the floor, its edible, isn't it? :D

Not to mention what a propelled blade can do to one's digits.
Don't ask me how I know this. :o

:D

Having had extensive experience with that breed of fur covered crocodile I have two questions:
1.) Did you sort thru the output
or
2.) Go the weinie way and take both of 'em to the vet?

Having had one myself, I can say that a bottle of peroxide got used annually to induce vomiting, and...

...Silly Putty makes finding turds in the yard a breeze.

They're labs. They can handle that stuff. As for my problems with the knife, 800-325-2891. Just took a few days to put it back together again.:D

Thank you for the tear down pic NB. I am going to change the scales to some stabilized box elder i have. Will post pics if i learn how.Should make sticky for these tear down.

How does the switch work to turn the AO feature on and off? I haven't taken mine apart yet but just by viewing through the the frame, it seems to shift a lever up and down to somehow engage or disengage the spring. Is this right? Does anybody have pics of how it works better?

Framelock conversion?? whoa...

No_boost, the framelock was not one of his mods. The titanium ZDP-189 Mini Cyclones came that way from the factory. If you plan on finding one for yourself, don't ask Brad. He's got the last of 'em, and he ain't openin' up the vault:D
