Hi. I'm in the middle of shortening my mini Dajavoo by a half an inch or so. However, I misplaced the little round blade stop.:mad: I need to make another one, could someone please measure (with calipers) the diameter of the stop? And the space between the liners at the stop? Thanks!

I made the piece I was looking for. This is what I have so far. I sanded the scales down so it's thiner and I shortened the handle and the blade. It's just what I want in a knife! I still have to work one the scales and then put the jimpping on. (and maybe tip up carry)

I have to make a spacer yet for the tail end of the spine. That is just the insert from the plastic spacer it came with. Thank you for your intrest!

I saw a guy do it with a diamond cutting wheel on another forums with a dremel. But you could probably use a diamond file. A sander would work but heed the rule thats have been stated before, dont overheat it. I'm no expert, so maybe someone else can give you more details.

I think a swedge would complete the new look.

The trick is to keep moving the blade, dunking it in water every 3-5seconds, and to use new belts.
