Here's a shot of my latest knife. This one is going to a customer who wanted a large enough ricasso to choke up on. It makes the knife pretty handy. The blade is forged 5160 3.2" to the guard, the handle is claro walnut, guard and pin are nickel silver, OAL is right around 6.75". This knife tore my fingers up during finishing, I think I went through a box of bandaids :).

Nice stuff! In the first pic I was wondering what the orange thing could be? Once enlarged, ...  :D I suppose it's tough, you don't want to mess up the knife just for a pic.

Nice looking little knife,It has a Primos feel to it.
very tight looking package.Nice looking wood on the knife
and also the one the kife is on,What is it?

Thanks for the compliments guys!

The mini fighter is actually the last pic on the web page, for some reason the photos are in reverse order.

Nathan, the wood (the only wood I use) is claro walnut, I might have a piece or two of bastogne which is a cross between English and claro. The block the knife (the first pic on the page) is on I used for the first mini fighter. The knife does have some Primos to it, then again most of my knives do ;).

Just so there's no confusion, the pics with the mossy log are the ones I am trying to post ;), I really need new photo hosting :).

I thought walnut, but I was not sure. You are doing some nice work.I would love to see some of the walnut you have doubled dyed
it has some nice looking grain in it.
:)
