Hey guys, I saw a flashlight on amazon a while back that was said to fit very well into the side pocket of a leatherman wave sheath (the one with the two side pockets for cylindrical parts) and also be very powerful for it's size, and fairly cheap (under 50 bucks or so). It was a specific brand, and I really want one now. One of those pockets is taken up by the bit extender, but the other one is lonely. Does anyone have a clue of the flashlight I'm talking about?

Two,places I would browse are four sevens.com and fenixstore.com. I am not sure which light you are looking for but i have one of the small Quark lights that use one CR123 batts as my mini and am very pleased so far.

I actually do exactly that. Mine is a IlluminaTi AAA, an older version with a now obsolete LED, but it's still very bright - the current version isn't all that much brighter. I bought it for keychain use, but the keyring hole is tiny, so I relegated it to "emergency" use. I keep the Leatherman Charge XTi in my backpack, in its sheath with all the bits and the extended driver and the flashlight. I have an Energizer lithium battery, since they last for a long time. It's common for the power to go out in Tucson when monsoon season comes, so it's always a good idea to have extra flashlights and batteries around. A newer version is available with a reported 135 lumens (but it's probably more like 90-100, but that's still plenty bright), and it's priced right at $50. Not bad for being made with titanium.

I don't know if that's the flashlight you saw, but it's definitely a good option. That's a ton of light in a small package, with a small battery.

Might be this one:
