Mini Grip Valox Handle Question

Has BM ever made their standard Valox handles with a spacer similar to the kind used by the aftermarket guys use such as Wilkins, etc. ? Or are the only variations just in the colors? I did see those other limited handle ones with those funky divots rather than the usual checkering that someone posted, but I didn't really care for those at all.

I'm curious if there's a way to make the mini grip more flow thru but keeping the factory handles. The way the factory ones are pretty much keep the spine closed in. Hasn't really been an issue though.

Just wondering.....

Seems to me that BM is missing a slice of the pie by not offering their own aftermarket handle line. But the guys here do make some very nice ones in many varieties.

Thanks guys.

Joe

The factory handles fit together in a clamshell sort of design that eliminates the need for a back spacer or metal stand-offs. The only way to make a "flow through" design using the factory grips would be to cut out sections of plastic, like with a Dremel tool. The result would probably look pretty bad, and likely compromise the strength of the handle.

Benchmade has made some Griptillians in a flow through design using more premium materials like G10. The Camp Perry edition is a good example.

I have Allen Putman scales and a geared back spacer on my mini, the feel in the hand is incredible. far more control than stock, and more robust!
