Few days ago i bought mini grip 154cm from authorised benchmade dealer in Germany. And when arrived i noticed 2 holes (tiny damages) on the end of the handle. I don't know is this normal because i saw similar thing on one more mini grip online. It's bugging me. I paid quite a lot and i got this.

"The described issue is the normal standard of quality with the Noryl GTX handle material. It occurs in the manufacturing process. "

Nice.

My educated guess it that those are from the sprue holes (the location of the mold where plastic injects into the cavity) during the plastic molding process. My mini grips have them and I just looked at a Manix LWT, and it has similar features. Yours do look kind of nasty though..I'd probably take some fine sandpaper and work them off. Benchmade will obviously take care of you, but logistics from Germany may not be worth it.

Same here, what you have is normal production. Probably too costly to return to Benchmade; unfortunately the molding process left too much material. But underneath that you have a great knife, and there are a lot of custom aftermarket scale makers offering quality replacements.

Completely normal with those models. No reason to return or replace.

Some look better or worse then others, but knowing it's not a defect or damage should help a bit.
