Got this little hawk recently. It is a little bit thick but not bad for $20. Made a slipcover out of some latigo scraps I had lying around. Finished it with a couple rivets for decoration and an afzelia burl bead on the paracord.

Great little hawk and nice work. The afzelia burl added a nice touch.
How is the steel for that price?

Seems pretty decent. Haven't had a chance to test it too much yet. The initial edge bevel was pretty obtuse so I convexed it on the belt sander. I could still probably take it thinner to improve it's performance.

The guy I bought it from says he knows the maker and has been carrying the same one for 10 years. For the price I thought it was a great deal.
