There's been so many new people here lately I can't keep up with them!!!!
Thanks Yvsa! Glad to have found (stumbled) my way here. What's this pile of steel blocking the doorway?!?
I've been lurking for a while...

My sentiments exactly. In fact, I would go for a collection of 4", 5", 6", 7", 8" and 9" khukuris. Perhaps even in a handy box or stand to allow for easy/quick access. Or better yet, on one long stretch of leather to wear, or put on my wall. Then whenever I needed one, just pop it out and use it. (psst... please don't tell my spouse

Sidenote tidbit
Having lived in Guatemala amongst the Kekchi and Pokomchi natives for 2 years, I have learned that there is no limit to the usage of a knife.
Here's a sampling of the usages I came across down there:
(the machetes ranged in size from 22" to 34", and you got your first one at age 8!)
Lawnmower
Grave Digger
Sodbuster
Tree Chopper
Oven Cleaner
Disciplinary (used like a paddle)
Toothpick
Shaving
Cutting Steps into clay
Cutting Steps into Rock
Build an entire house with 1 machette and a very long rope.
Nutcracker
Nail Trimmer
Hair cutter
Tattoo
Branding cattle
Butchering (of course)
and lastly,
Cut off your neighbor's hand when you suspect him cheating on you - I was there... ouch! not nice.
Just imagine all the things you would never have to buy!
