mini kit & tilly hat?

I got one of those tilly hat's and it has a pocket in the crown. and I was thinking about puting a mini kit in the crown. but i am worred about sweating any ideas you might have thanks.

Use one of those really heavy plastic zip lock type pouches that are used for hunting and fishing licenses. That should fit, and protect from moisture.

Your kit MUST be waterproof anyways. First rain, first accidental dip and you won't regret it. Waterproof, of course, is also sweatproof Watch out though, sweat is a lot more corrosive than plain water, since it contains salt. You don't want a corrosive material... the plastic / fishing licence card idea is a good one. Wrapping the goods in duct tape also works, but the gear is sticky afterwards...
