Anyone have any pics of the mini manix with a full sized grip? I am considering the manix but would like to see it next to my current EDC.
Thanks a ton

Here's a decent side by side pic. I'm out of town right now, so I can't take any better ones till tomorrow. If you need more pics let me know. Both are great knives, two different animals though. IMHO, I don't think you'd be disappointed with the Mini Manix.

Thanks a lot TxTroubleMaker for the pic. About how do the two knives compare thickness wise? I understand that the Manix is heavier but I am just trying to get a good feel for its overall "bulk" etc. It sure looks like a great knife and I have this sneaky suspicion that i'll end up with one in my pocket before long....haha.
Thanks

Daniel

TxTroubleMaker can speak for himself, but I find the mini-manix much bulkier and heavier in the pocket than the griptilian. Nothing wrong with the mini-manix, especially if you are a workin' man in need of a hefty piece of steel. For my urban, office guy type of EDC, I prefer the light weight and smoother, less angular profile of the Grip. JMO.

Edited: when comparing them side by side, the size and weight seem more or less the same. Its the more angular, seemingly bulkier profile of the mini-manix that makes it seem bigger in the pocket.

how wide is the mini manix when closed? i mean from the top of the blad to the bottom of the handle. it looks really wide, but a beautiful knife

1 3/4" for the MM vs. 1 5/16" on the Grip. Maybe thats where some of that somewhat bulky feel (to me) comes from.

peace

I have the Mini Manix and think it's an incredible EDC. My first Spyderco!

Not as heavy as you would think and well built, like a tank, with an easy opening, nicely designed blade.

In my jeans, the Mini Manix disappears w/o excess bulk and w/o any dificulty concealing. It's in my jean's pocket as I write.

I've got an M2 Ritter Grip coming and look forward to comparing the two. When I demo'ed another Grip it felt lighter then the Mini Manix. However, the lockup of the Mini Manix is really solid with excellent ergonomics.

Big thumbs up recommendation for the Mini Manix.

Thanks for the awesome pictures and all of the info guys. the manix looks like one heck of a sweet knife. Now I just have to decided if I can afford it or not.
