I got my mini Manix (80mm) today. This sucker is COOL! Every bit as good as the full-sized manix. Maybe even stronger because it's the same thickness but shorter.

Strange thing is that I got it from another forum member NIB. I can't believe somebody would give one of these up, especially without ever using it.

This is going to be one of those knives that's the answer to nearly every "What knife should I get"-thread in the general forum for the next 5 years.

(I STILL want a stronger tip that I can pry bullets out of a log, etc., with.)

It's the PRINCIPAL, dammit! It's a MANIX. If there were any factory knife under $125 suitable for such abuse, it should be the manix.:)

I've been carrying the 80mm Manix aboout a week now and I really love it. It is stout but not excessively heavy. I love that MBC rated lock too. This knife is right at my limit for what I will carry. My only complaint is that I wish the actual cutting edge were an 3'.

I can still get my hand in my pocket with the knife there which is something I could never do with the regular Manix.
