Drop point blade? I like drop points for a usable tip.

Black? I am not sure I like the cerakote finish because it wears off.

Handles. I only have a few knives with a wrapped handle. This is the first one that I carry daily. Because Joe Watson knives are hard to find, I bought it with the wrapped handle. I kind of like it. The wrap adds texture for gripping. Most wraps have epoxy for sealing. I had to wash the handle once and scrub it with a toothbrush to clean it up. It works fine. I like micarta and G10, too, because they don't show much wear with use and can have different textures and colors.
