Dear Sirs,

I paid too much, I know, but now it is here and it looks a bit ... you know what I mean. And I searched at BF and BCCI, but the knife didn't leave one's mark. Does anybody know anything about this ... 475 Mini Mentor?

It would be nice if somebody has an Idea.

Best regards,
Haebbie

hi haebbie
i was bidding on that also but i let you have it :D
i thought the mop looked funny but i wanted the wolf cutout

ELVIS IS IN DA HOUSE!!!!

Somebody pimped your Buck.

I like that knife Haebbie. Sirusly.
But, unlike BM, I would prefer not having the cutout.
So, other than that, I add no value in any background on the model or life in general.

I tried to look that one up and found a 475sp10. This project was done in 2002, and we did 250 pieces. The description only mentions the wolf cut out though. It did not mention the Poly pearl handle so I am not positive I have the correct one. Did yours come with a box? If so, the label should give a catalog number that can be checked on. Is your knife serialised?

Knifeschmied, the knife looks a bit strange. the artificial MOP - I've to accustom me to that square edged handle. The wolf is the best of the knife.

Thanks Joe for your help. The knife didn't come with the Box, and it is not serialized. In the special project sheet of the BCCI I found the 475SP10B with a quantity of 6. Registered in 2003. But there is no material of the Handle listed.

BM, thank you for letting me have it ;-). Did I bid you out? I didn't saw your nick in the bidder list. But for you I'll make a pic, not from the the cutout? No from the wolf - Okay?

Take care,
Haebbie

I took another look and that 475sp10B is the same animal. We actually did 250 of them, not 6. But since yours is not serialised, that has me wondering about its origin. Its hard to say but it could be an overrun of the 250 pc project.
Pat Pending, yes and we always seem to be waiting on her.

Messieurs,

it's a cute little knife, the Mini Mentor. It seems, that a lot of different 475 were sold during
the last years. Would you please be so kind to tell me (show me) what knives are missing in the collection?

Many thanks for reading and

Best Regards,

Herbert

Poly Pearl, Pearl Mica, Rosie Dorado, Gretsnap, Mia Carta...and I heard rumours of a Pat Pending. But, I'm not one to gossip.
Joe has a harem.

Gooser, you forgot Gretsnaps brother Lack  Lacksnap runs rampant through here sometimes..:D But I guess Joe wouldn't want him in a harem...

Geez Haebbie,,,my little 475 now feels deficient after showing it that pic...:)

The different variations of different Buck knives continue to amaze me. Good Stuff Haebbie!!!

Well then, Rat Pack, I've a proposal: You send me your little 475 and I put
it in the Display for the Mini Mentor Family. It would never feel deficent
in the middle of its pride. What do yu think? I only want the best for your
little 475.

Best,
Haebbie

sweet collection there :D
that is the first time i have seen the wolf cut out...
wow it is so nice to know that others like the cut outs also!!!
i admit they are not a pratical use knife and i have had one break on droping it.
but i like them...

I guess I better keep it in that piggyback sheath with its big brother 470.
Wouldn't it to get lonesome. :D
