I was walking the dog today when what sounded like a chainsaw zoomed pasted me. It was a guy on a little motorcycle. It looked like a toy but he must have been doing 30mph on the sidewalk. I have seen these rise in popularity over the last two years and have thought of them as being a little funny. I'm not looking to buy one these things, I just wanted to get a little feedback. Yeah they are called pocketbikes. www.pocketbike.com I think the site is right. They aren't even street legal, but I think that they are one step up from Go-Peds www.go-ped.com

Yeah, they are really popular where I live. Mostly the kids ride them although I don't think that they are street legal.

Personally, I don't like them. The are noisy and remind me of those little pesty flying insects that dart around head. I much prefer the electric versions (Badsey and Turbo Z) can be as fast but silent.
