This is an idea I have had for the longest, and Larry at Blade Art in Miami encouraged me to follow through, and here are the results.Head is 3" long and was forged from 5/8" round bar 5160,haft is 6" of curly maple with a walrus ivory mouth piece and a mammoth ivory clean out plug. The sheath is for neck carry, with the concept that this can be used as a neck knife, with the cool factor of being a fully functional pipe tomahwaK!Photo is by Chuck Ward,

That is VERY cool John. I've always been intrigued by pipe hawks and don't recall ever seeing a small one such as that.

That looks like a Barber coin, but I can't make out the denomination...$.50?

Really fine, John.......Larry will be happy to see that, I'm sure.

Thanks guys, this one was a blast to make!I will be doing a run of 10 of these, and a few are spoken for. This one will be at the Blade Art booth at Blade, along with at least a couple of more!

Dang, that is cool! I really appreciate the creativity here. Have you tried to smoke one of these yet? Just curious how it smokes. I always love seeing your work and this is no exception.

Thanks guys!Mike, since I quit smoking almost 12 years ago I am reluctant to fire one of these but it should smoke great!
