i was on the semi-survival knife meeting in Warsaw. i met there a lot of my good friends, and also other Polish makers. one of them, Piotr "Kubek" Jakubiec gave me a present (i gave him one too!). this is a small, beautiful knife, maded from M390 powder steel, with some wood, brass and leather on handle. it fits perfect and it's alo scary sharp!

Kubek is very good knifemaker, he is making knives using only hand tools (files etc). he is also very good friend.

if somebody wants to know more about this maker, please read info about him.

This is a somewhat unconventional knife, but it kinda speaks to me! I think it would make a fine skinner and/or wood working knife. The wood handle is intrigueing... what kind is it? Do you have any dimensions?

I am to the point that I have a hard time getting excited about "new" knives. It's amazing how many knives are out there these days. With that said; I love this knife. This would definately be a nice compliment to the ones I carry already.
