Always thought this was a neat little fixed blade. Would love the 3V version but seems extremely expensive for such a small knife. The AUS10 model looks good too. Anybody have one? Is the 3V model worth the cost…not even sure if it’s available anymore.

I have the VG-1 version with the original short handle.

It’s a handy little knife that can be carried fully in the pocket, or even hung from a belt.

Mine is pretty thick, it could benefit from an aggressive removal at the bevel to make it cut a bit better.

You may hear from some who don’t like the sheath as it can dull the edge. For me, it has not been much of an issue.

I have the VG-1 also. Very nice tool for the price paid. It is a tad smaller in my hand than what I had hoped for and for that reason I don't carry it as much as I thought I would. It does have a spot as my dedicated small game knife though. I believe it was on closeout when I bought it 6 years ago or so.

Not for me . I got a good deal on a VG-1 Japan .

3V is maybe worth it for a big chopper / survival field knife .

The Mini is a fine , handy small fixed for detail work or backup . Not really a hard use type knife .

If you never handled one , you might be surprised how small it feels .

My hands are just on the small side of medium . I can get a full 4 finger grip , but larger hands probably not .

Thanks for providing the picture, I never realized just how small it was.
