I find the C83 more comfortable than the C105, perhaps because the grip on it is very similar to that of the Stretch. I get a very solid four finger grip without using the choil.

I have large hands and C83 Persian give me very comfortable and secure grip. To obtain the same grip with C105 Mini Persian I have to use choil. I can be wrong, but I treat these two knives quite different. C83 is my "cut anything knife". C105 is gents knife, which I use for lighter cutting, where I do not need such secure grip. Still C105 is very well build and capable knife.
Get both if you can. There are no better knives than Schempp's Persians.
I end up not liking smaller knives. I had a Delica and found it dimunitive. Same with a Mini Grip, Small Sebenza, I'm sure I'd end up the same way with the C105. I ended up with the bolstered / G-10 Sprint and I'm very happy with it. Still hasn't pushed my Umnumzaan out of my EDC pocket, but it's a great knife.
