So I've decided now that I live in "everything-is-expensive" land down under, I would like a widgy or something. actually the last few jobs I've done they would have been the tool to have, so anyway. But I looks online and the best I can do to get my mitts on one is in the 35$ range, which seems more than a bit silly (price gouging ebay sellers!) anywhos, for something in that bracket, anyone got any ideas? I'm thinking the curved 4 inch one, as it will live in the doom-bag, on my keys. Or maybe I'll just save lots of pennies, and stop whining, or just figure out a DIY solution that doesn't look like a prison shank.

County comm has them

If you want a countycomm one for the cost of shipping, you're welcome to mine. It's used of course, but it's pretty hard to damage those things...

I thought STR doesn't make them anymore. Does anyone know if he is currently in stock with the nailpuller pry bars?

Also google TT Pocket Tools. He is very talented in what he does. His tools are kind of like Atwoods but in my opinion nicer in design as he likes to use skulls a lot. His prices are much more than reasonable too.

Go to the hardware store buy a $2 mini prybar . Cut it with a dremel cut slow and keep dipping it in water to keep it cool . round off the cut end with a sanding drum on dremmel keeping it cool drill lanyard hole with 3/16th 4.5 mm masonary bit

thanks for the tips guys. countycomm doesn't ship overseas, and the eBay listings for widgy bars makes them seem really rare. meh. thanks for the tip on TT. once I figure out miles's shipping costs, I might go there.

This is what I did. It works great and was rather cheap. I threw a paracord wrap on it too, which helps in use.
