I occasionally lurk about this thread and have recently been contemplating on small axes, big knives, machetes, khukris, and the like.
What about some sort of mini-Pulaski as a camp implement? T'would serve for small axe work, digging/grubbing, an impromptu adze if necessary, and with a raised flat along the side of the head, hammering.
Probably an old notion rejected long ago, but I throw it into the ring anyway.
