Mini Recon 1 in Aus8 vs XHP

Hello Guys/Gals!

Am new to here so hello from the UK!

I am very interested in the Recon 1 Mini Clip Point and given they have now launched the newer version, given the Aus8 version here in the UK is 30 GBP cheaper and the newer version is seemingly going to be a while before it filters through, does the Tuff-Ex covering come off as easily as it's supposed to, I admit I won't be using it for any heavy use but I also know that some people say that the covering is the worst part!? I don't mind waiting if I am going to get a superior product!

Any advice would be most welcome!
 
CTS-XHP models have DLC coating. Won't come off if you look at it funny. If you don't want the coating to come off, wait for the new version.
 
Many thanks for the advice, I was hoping to hear from someone who had managed to have experience with both versions tbh! ? But thanks all the same! The Mini Recon 1 Clip Point is showing in stock on the official website, so hopefully I won't have to wait until the 4th quarter as I originally thought!
