mini recon/code 4

Would anybody be interested if Cold Steel brought back the mini recon?
Also, if they made a Code 4 mini?
I would like one :)

A mini Recon1 in a steel better than Aus-8a yes. I gave away my Code 4. Didn't care for the slick handles.
 
Yes, of course a better steel maybe S35 which is what they are making the recons in now.
 
I kind of regret not picking up a Mini Recon tanto in XHP.
I owned a Code 4 and I did not like the slick scales. I'm considering getting another one and making scales or possibly an overlay of G10.

Personally, I don't think cost should really be a factor. I carry knives the size of the mini Recon because it's more fitting to my uses than because they're cheaper. I'd definitely be in for a mini Recon 1 in S35VN if they decided to do that. I'd also be in for a mini Code 4 (actually been asking for one for years), but CS just doesn't seem to be interested in putting out knives in this size range at present (or many knives that appeal to me, but that's another story). The Mini Recon 1 was discontinued for a reason.

And I now just find out that this was a thing. I really wish I didn't love CTS-XHP so much, because almost every knife made with it is discontinued.
 
Hopefully it was discontinued because of availability of the steel and is released soon with another material. I also missed out on grabbing one before they were gone.
 
Personally, I'm not into smaller , or slick handled knives. Wouldn't the CRKT Drifter be like a mini Code 4?
 
Does anyone know why the Mini was discontinued? It still seems very popular and wanted from discussions I've seen.

I would like to see how that looks if you make it.
I like that knife in general, but didnt like the slick handles. I simply put pistol grip tape on mine. Doesn't t look great but makes the knife much more functional.
