Hello All,

I recently was in a local gun shop when I was looking at the knives I seen a small regular Sebenza w/unique pattern, and right under that was the smallest Chris Reeve knife I have ever seen . It had to have been the size of a Spyderco Dragonfly, and had a unique pattern on it . It must have been old because the it was a regular Sebenza style, and I have never seen anything like it . I wish I could get a picture of it but it didn't cross my mind at the time . I would like to know if anyone could tell me first of all if this knife is a real CRK design, and second how much I should offer him for it/how much it could be sold for . BTW I'm pretty sure the steel is BG-42 .

I think it might have been an "Umfaan". I'm not a CRK expert, but i'm sure someone will chime in and give a better opinion.

Definitely sounds like the Umfaan that has been mentioned. Umfaans look just like a mini Sebenza...dual thumb lugs, no clip.
As for worth...always hard to determine. Could depend on the design...always depends on the mood of the marketplace at the time.
I've seen prices from $400-800 it seems...although not many in that upper range.

Umfaan.

May be worth your while to pick one of these guys up!
They don't come by often from what I've personally seen and they normally come at a demanding price due to their scarcity.

Original box and birth card will usually help a sale for someone looking to collect it.

Definitely sounds like an Umfaan. The blade steel would be BG-42. I have seen them go for 425.00 to 650.00.

Here's a picture of a few.

They originally sold for $280 plain or standard design, decorated added $100 to the cost.

I picked up my first one just a month ago and I really like it. Two or three years ago you would find them on e-bay for around $450.00 plus some pocket change, but you hardly ever see them anymore. That is one tough little knife.
