Mini Ritter or Mini G10?

I've owned a Mini Ritter before and loved it. So did my brother in law and he bought it from me. So I'm going to go get another one and have a set of custom scales made for it. So the G10 scales on the new model are not a factor in my choice. What is a factor is the steel. With my old mini with M390 I could sharpen it and easily get a burr on it, very easily. With my ZT0562CF with CTS-204P, basically the same steel, I have to work much harder at it. Is this a heat treat thing? Has anybody sharpened both a Mini Ritter with M390 and the new G10 with 20CV? Is there any difference in how much effort it takes to sharpen them? Or any other factors that you would think that would sway one to buy one over the other?

Just choose what blade shape you prefer. The steel is a non factor when comparing CPM20CV and M390. I can't say more than that because I bought both; diversity.

I've owned and sharpened both. Did a reprofile on both using Sharpmaker diamond rods. I couldn't tell much difference really. BladeHQ claims that 20CV is easier to sharpen, which might be true, but the difference is negligible IMO.

I do prefer the Ritter blade shape.
