They are. It's an absolutely outstanding knife, I highly recommend it...

The mini-rukus has a great feel, smooth action, and cuts like a dream, you will be very happy if you get one.

As the others have said it is a great knife, sharp, etc. I am 5'1" female and it fits me. My husband is 6"3" and he can use it too but I'd like to get him the regular Rukus someday. The Axis lock is terrific and seems to be the least worries of all the folders on unexpectedly closing up on you.

The Mini Rukus feels very comfortable in my hand. I bought one along with a BM Rift 950 in order to compare the two side by side. I ended up selling the Rift and keeping the Mini Rukus.

It's pretty comfortable, kindy blocky, but not bad. You have every right to feel bad about not having an axis, they're as cool as they look. Get the Rukus now. And welcome to the forums (Raider nation).
