Mini Sheepdog choil mod

Just added a finger choil to my mini Sheepdog, allows for a full 4 finger grip now.
The flipper tab is pretty wide, so mainly cut into that - lost about 1/4" of cutting edge, but I feel it's a worthwhile trade off.

Dremel w/ barrel sanding attachments. Then a little hand sanding to finish. Make sure to douse with water every few seconds of grinding with the Dremel to cool the blade and not mess up the heat treat. I'd go for it man, pretty simple and makes a huge difference imho...
