I picked one up today and I was actually shocked. This knife is really pocket sized. The handle actually felt pretty small in my hands, and my hands are big but not unusually so. It's light with a solid lockup. Size wise, this knife really reminds me of the old Mini AFCK. I'm impressed. I'm also glad I held off getting a Spyker which would have cost more and would have been too big for EDC.
 
They are alotta knife for the size. I've also been impressed with how smoother it is compared to it's bigger brother. :cool:

Anthony, could you email me the pricing too....I've been hunting for one high and low. The only ones that are available are way above what I think the pricing should be.
 
Grand Prairie knives just e-mailed me today that my new 635 is en route to me. I've been on the pre-order list for over a month and the new batch just came in. Can't wait!
 
Got it yesterday and it is sweet. When closed, you're loooking at a small unasuming pocket knife. You open it and this huge blade appears from out of nowhere (It only seems huge due to spine-to-edge size). This will be my EDC for some time. Though I was surprised that it arrived very dull. Couldn't do anything with it until I sharpened it. That's a Benchmade first for me.

The only mod I will make is to remove the radius on the opening hole. The detent works better than any liner/frame lock I've seen and the radiused hole doesn't provide enough purchase to open confidently and consistently. Once it has a little bite to it, it will be perfect (getting out dremel now).
 
I just got one today. Mine was hair shaving sharp. It's a very smooth action pocketknife. I'm impressed with it.
 
I picked up one for a friend of mine this week and shipped it to him. I have to admit that the 635 tested my beliefs in what friends will do for each other :D

I plan on getting one too...

Did you dremel this yet?
I have the same problem with opening consistently.

I'm looking to see this before I take my dremel to mine :)

I wouldn't bother except it's such a rockin great knife!

I handled a Mini Skirmish today, great little knife. I would have taken it home with me had it not been for the 425 Gravitator I saw. Ended up with the 425. :cool:
 
Does the Mini also have those strange colored glass-looking inserts in the handle?
