Here's something a little different for me...

I forged the blade from w2, 4.375" blade, bronze guard, desert ironwood handle, 8.5" OAL. No hamon :eek: :D :yawn: I forgot what it was like to make a knife without a hamon, I kind of miss it :). This knife is poooiiinty, just ask my finger tips.

I only name my big bowies, this guy is too small to deserve a title so it gets the generic name "South West" :).

I attached a shot of the next big bowie The Revenge, named after the first ship Oliver Hazzard Perry was given command of.

You better come up with something GOOD! And it better have some connection to Ohio :D :rolleyes: :p.

How about the Ottawa Bowie? They were an indian tribe located in north west Ohio and heavily involved in the war of 1812.
 
Oh so now you wanna name it afterall? And you're want to name it after a town in Canada so as to have some connection to Ohio?

How about we just call it Derrick's :D
 
I can't believe you brough up Canada. Now we're going to get Stan in here telling me to name it the Edmonton Bowie or the Oil Sand Bowie.

Very nice work Matt.I really like the clip and the double guard.Oil Sands Bowie??? I don't think so,too smelly. :D
Now get back to the stitching. :p
