Mini-Southard mod

This is a mod I did a few weeks ago for a user on a reddit knife subforum. Chopped down the blade and handle (owner provided the custom Juma scales) ala Kevin Smock, who pioneered this mod a ways back.

Ive been following Smocks knives for a while.

Your conversion looks very nice as well - good job. I cant decide whether to mod my own Southard knife or not.

Is that the desert Juma? Looks great.

Is the handle with the new scale the same thickness as the stock version?

Thanks Flash. Yep, the handle is same thickness as stock. However, I can't take responsibility for the awesome scale work - that was all Steve Sketchen. The client supplied the knife w/ custom scale for me to chop.
