I needed to touch up the edge on my Mini Spit this morning, after a lot of EDC use. Just a few swipes with the Lansky and it was scary sharp. Been carrying this every day since I bought it from Makael a couple of years ago, and I still absolutely love it. So light in weight that I forget it's there, but it's all I need in a knife 99% of the time. Even when deer hunting, there's a #102 Woodsman on my belt, but the Mini rides in my pocket. And if I ever lose it, no tears will be shed. Out of boredom, I googled the reviews on this knife. Apparently I may be the only owner who is fond of this little guy. Reviewers seem to hate it, and I can't understand why. Care to share your opinions on the Mini Spitfire?

You know that honestly what kept me from picking one up when they first came out. But makael told us not to long ago the knife got an update and all the problems they were having were addressed if I'm not mistaken. I think if that got around to more people and maybe got a "rereview" so to speak these would be more popular. (Just my opinion, far from expert:D)

I’m a big fan of both sizes. I have a 722 from the custom shop - an awesome knife for special occasion carry.
There’s a mini on the center console of my truck and another has a spot as my edc every sixth week.
Great knives at a great price.

I have one of the mini blue s30 versions from copper and clad, and really like it! It is very light weight, I took the clip off of mine and just pocket carry it. The steel holds a nice edge for a long time. Mine has a small amount of blade play but it doesn’t effect the lock up or how it cuts. For the price they are a great knife!

Handy size but prefer a larger model my thumb still won't extend so a smaller knife requires too much dexterity.

My mini Spit is in my rotation as a EDC and is a very nice, inexpensive and light duty pocket knife.
