It's pretty small but does feels beefy in the hand since it's aluminum and it had better grind out of the box then the BOTM copper spitfire from last year I think.

I recently picked up a 726 in the same color and have been using it for about a month and a half. I didn't think I would like a Spitfire, but I really like this knife. Done a fair amount of whittling with it and have ran it through a ton of cardboard. I've only ever needed to tap it on the strop or hit it with the ceramic rod and it's back in business.

Does Buck make a spitfire with G10 or FRN handles? I like the pattern but I really hate metal grips, living in New England and all.

Yes, the Custom Shop offers G10 in a few color options.
