I've been looking for a mini texas toothpic (about the same size and pattern as This one) but I've only been able to find them in stainless... Does case not make one in CV or queen one in D2, or someone make a nice little toothpick in a great steel with some character for around that price? And if I can't find one... I suppose I could go for a small muskrat, but I think that a toothpick is just so much classier as a dressy knife.

Thanks

The latest Parker catalog I have lists some beautiful ones.

Bulldog has a series of 3" closed toothpicks in carbon steel with handles that range from mastadon ivory to giraffe bone to tiger coral. They are in the $50-60 price range, too!!!

They also have a drop dead gorgeous Weidmannsheil 3" toothpick with a damascus blade and stag handles for $80.

I didn't see them on the web site, but it is:

www.bulldogbrandknives.com

The contact information is on there.

Hope this helps.

Get a full size Queen toothpick in D2, and you'll be pleased. I just got mine yesterday, and boy-oh-boy is it nice. Great fit & finish, strong spring with excellent walk & talk. I opted for the cocobolo scales, since I already have a canoe in CSB (carved stag bone). My CSB canoe is my dress knife, because it's so pretty, but if you're looking for a dressy toothpick get a CSB from Queen.

I would go for a full-size knife, but for a dress knife, I want something which will ride the pocked unnoticed until I need it, and a small sized toothpick will work better for that, and most cutting chores while well dressed are less heavy duty.

And thanks for the link to the red bone small toothpick in CV, I know what's next on my lsit now!
