Steve, Got an order for you. Could you make me a mini TI-Pry bar? Same specs as the widgy but with no nick at the tip. Whatchathink? You might be make'n lots of these!! Thanks.

I don't know what that is but I'll look at it. It depends on the type and thickness of titanium. Ti blade grinding is not for the faint at heart.

Nothing I see tells me the dimensions real well but it appears to be about a half inch wide or so based on the look in a hand. I'm not sure I follow what you are calling the nick so you may have to help me out there. Are you referring to the separation point between the two little beveled parts of the pry bar?

I will look around for some scrap ti cut off materials since I save everything rather than toss it. I may have a piece that will work fine for that. Not sure yet though.

Yes, the separation in the middle of the edge. I don't need that. Won't be pull'n nails with that little guy! I'll get the specs. if you want me to. Thanks.

Well, I can come up with something based on the pic but even if I had the specs I'm not likely to copy it exactly. I'm not sure how good it is to copy it at all if someone has a trade mark on it or something but I can come up with one using some scrap and give it to you and this is no problem since I doubt from the looks of it that it will take much time to make up one.

I owe you for the generous knife and micarta you donated to me recently anyway so its not any big deal to spend 15 or 20 minutes throwing something similar to that together for you.

Steve---FWIW, the micro Widgy is 3". It's a little wider too, than the Reg. OK. Thanks.

What can I say? I had a nap today and there was nothing on TV. :D

Now we're even. I can't say I know all the intricate things that make a good pry bar other than I've used them. I tested it out on some very old rusted shut laquer and paint cans in the shop and it opened all of em so I think it works. I had to re bead blast the tip after but it cleaned right up.

I found a scrap piece of .087 thickness titanium that was just enough to do one of them. Couldn't have asked for much better than that I don' think.

You know you can buy those for like $5 each.

I must admit it didn't take long but I'm not sure I want to make a habit of it. Someone came up with it and deserves to make some money on it. I'm giving this one away so as to not take away something someone else came up with.

I'll see what I have laying around in the way of other pieces but as I said I am not comfortable charging for something I don't have permission to copy.

How are these Theo. Pick one.
Dimensions are:

Long one 4.25" long and 1/2" wide

Short one 3.5" long 5/8" wide.

Both are close to .075 thickness. I took the liberty of making them unique rather than copy the exact pattern like the last one. If you like it great if not don't worry about it. I'll do something with them.

Got a lot done today but topped off the day with these at the end.

I can drill a key ring hole in either of them yes. How does ten bucks each grab ya?

Done. Consider the ends with the key ring holes to be the 'lighter duty' sides.

I'll stick them in the box in the morning to go out with the morning mail delivery. I'll be out most of the day tomorrow but I'm taking my lap top to the course my wife and I are going to so I'll be checking in I think. It all depends on if they have a wireless set up at the hotel we are going to or not. If not I'll be playing freecell all day I'm sure.
