I wanted to post this because the Mini-Tusker has changed since I first came up with the design 2 years ago. The original was basically a scaled down version of my larger Tusker. It was 8 1/2" overall with a 4" blade, 3/4" choil, 1/8" thick by 1 1/4" wide. Working with K. Estela, we came up with what is known as the Mini-Tusker that you see now. Kev asked me to make a similar knife about a year ago. It was the same size only 3/16" thick by 1 1/4" wide, no choil. I believe Marcello owns it now. Then Kev tweaked the specs to 5/32" thick by 1" wide. His is 8" overall with a 4" blade and a short ricasso. I think about an 1/8" wide. I stuck with his specs only made the handle 4 1/2", the blade 4" with a 1/4" ricasso giving it a 3 3/4" cutting edge.
The "new" Mini-Tusker is much better according to the feedback Kev has provided me. He uses a knife extensively while working with Marty Simon at the WLC.
