I've seen one in use (at a canoeing gathering)
They seem to be great products and yours should last you a lifetime - congrats!

I'm still using my USGI canteen set up...over 20 years after I got out of the Army.
I "stray" at times to others- either more efficient or "sexy" at the time
...but I always come back to my old faithful set up.

I see the the Volcano set up like that... making passionate fans of the product -
maybe you'll be one in decades to come. :)

Hi Folks,

Don't want to come across as been a stickler for detail but having given Irish, U.K., U.S. & Canadian Solicitors & Attorneys some serious money over recent years to protect our Intellectual Property Rights, I must point out that both 'Volcano Kettle' and 'Kelly Kettle' are Registered Trademarks of the Kelly Kettle Company. Only items manufactured and provided by us can use the terms. As the item above was not produced by us, it cannot be called a 'Volcano Kettle'.
Sincerest apologies, but we must save our Brands from been used as 'generic' terms for any copies of our kettles. Our Brands would become worthless (and my money wasted!!) if we let everyone off using them incorrectly....bit like what happened to 'Hoover' & 'Frisbee' many years ago.

Rant over - and on a much more interesting note, readers might be interested to learn that we are launching some new products shortly. 1) Stainless Steel Cook sets and 2) A Stainless Steel version of our Small Kettle before the end of December. 3) A Kelly 'Hobo' Stove attachment, 4) New Mugs and 5) our own 'Ultralight' Kettle - all in early Spring.

Just an FYI for readers.

Thanks in advance for your understanding in this matter.

Kind regards,

Patrick Kelly

Patrick,

FYI, Most of us on this site don't support knock-offs and copycats. Several years ago when I was looking at these, it came down to either Kelly Kettle or a Storm Kettle. Unless I'm mistaken I bought one of yours which shipped direct from Ireland.

Best Regards,
Sid

Thanks for your support Sid - it is appreciated.

Hopefully, some of the new items we are working on will prove popular. The 'Hobo' attachment should make cooking on the fire base much easier and make the entire Kelly Kettle 'Kit' much more functional when out & about! Also, we hope our ultralight kettle proves popular with others once it is available in the spring.

Regards
Patrick

Your Stainless Steel Small Kettle has my attention! :)

A smaller model for use on my "dual-sport" motorcycle that is able to deal with the knocks and bumps it will see offroad certainly has my interest. It sure sounds like a good option with the new cook sets and mugs.

Any chance these will make it to the USA before Christmas? Good luck with your product launches this holiday season!

Sid

Its unlikely that we will have the small Stainless Kettle Stateside before Christmas - probably January at this stage.
Will let you know (via Website, Newsletter, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) when it and any new products are available.
Thanks again for your support.

Patrick

Kelly Kettles in the USA!

For anyone that's interested, the large stainless Kelly Kettle has been released. If the small one was ready for sale, I would take advantage of their Thanksgiving day sale but, no such luck.

:(

For anyone interested, the small stainless Kelly Kettles have been released. I have really enjoyed my large model and have a small on the way. :)

The quality is very good and the weight is reasonable. They seem a lot more durable then the aluminum models, though I haven't really tested that feature myself. The stainless steel also heats very fast, which was an initial concern of mine.
