My gf's key kechain whistle broke recently. I figured I'd come here to ask for suggestions on replacement - something reasonably priced. Small. And, I mean small whistle. I was thinking something out of solid metal... maybe cylindrical? High dB output.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

There is also a Fox 40 Mini Micro which is pretty loud and a lot smaller than the regular version.

Edit: KuRUpTD's link is the one I was thinking of.

It's not metal but I like the ACME Tornado 636. It's Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) approved, it's small, loud and available in a multitude of colors. I've had one on my keychain for years and it's held up very well.

Take a look at going gear.com. He has a bunch of stuck right in that area. Lanyard whistles I think they call them. One came with my RatIzula Knife. Quite nice. Also they pull zippers with the best of them!

What kind of tether is that holding all your stuff together?

Hey Clyde, is that an ITP protruding from the kydex? Where did that sweet little sheath come from?

Nice keychain set-up

REV,
It's a cable keychain I picked up from my local ACE hardware store. It's secure but also allows you to strip off items easily.

Good eye, it's an iTP. It makes an oustanding keychain light. The sheath is one I smelted myself.

KuRUpTD,
Thanks, some of that stuff does come in handy.

Stay Safe,
Clyde
